Basil P. Rouskas

Basil
P. Rouskas is the founder and President of Basil Rouskas Associates,
Inc., a Somerset NJ based Management Consulting firm which works
with organizations pursuing to create new tools and leverage
existing resources to attract, integrate, develop and retain talent. |
Clients
are typically Fortune 1000, select not for profits, institutions of
higher education and growing smaller organizations. The firm was founded in 1988.
Mr. Rouskas is
an experienced presenter, trainer, coach and facilitator with
clientele in a diversified cross section of industries and
companies. He has
facilitated Strategic Planning retreats and Senior Team Development
processes. Furthermore,
he has designed and collected data utilizing surveys of executive
and professional behaviors along the dimensions of competencies
required for successful contribution to the organization.
He has extensive experience in providing coaching to
executives and professionals regarding their 360-degree feedback
data and assisting them to drive personal change and to increase the
effectiveness of their team.
In
his career, he has held positions of responsibility in the Air
Force, and - in the for profit arena - in medium size manufacturing
and large global corporate financial services enterprises, such as
the CHUBB Group headquartered in Warren, NJ, and regional consulting
organizations.
Upon
entering the consulting field he continued his education by earning
a Master's in Behavioral Sciences from Rutgers University.
This degree rounded his diverse education, which also includes an
undergraduate degree in Physics, and a Master's in Management.
Mr. Rouskas has
been an active and involved leader in several professional
societies. He was the
International Director of the NJ Society for Human Resources
Management (SHRM) Garden State Council from 1995 to 1998 and is past
President (1994) of the Central NJ chapter of SHRM.
Additionally he has served on the Research Committee for
Strategic linkages between NJHRPG (NJ Human Resources Planning
Group) Academic Institutions and Publishers on Business Strategy
& Human Resources. Finally,
he has also served on the board of the International Association of
Career Management Professionals (IACMP) chapter in NJ.
He is currently
an active member of the SHRM High Technology network, a Professional
Emphasis Group focusing on the Human Recourses issues of the High
Technology organization. Additionally,
he is a member of the New Jersey Technology Council, an association
of Technology companies driving growth through emerging
technologies, where he was featured in the June 2001 issue with an
article on the pioneering work for retention and development of
technology talent for one of his client companies.

Elyse Kehoe

Elyse
Kehoe, Consulting and Development Manager, has been with Basil
Rouskas Associates, Inc. since 1991.
The firm is a corporate Human Resources consulting
organization which specializes in Customized Training and
Development, Transition Coaching and Organizational Development.

Elyse coaches clients in
supervisory skills, designs and facilitates educational and training
seminars on various management topics including Success Teams, Team
Building and PRIDE.
She also contributes to the continuous improvement team
efforts of the organization. In
addition, she has provided communications training for Cornell
University, S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Elyse has designed and supervised our internship program
together with the recruitment and screening of candidates.
Prior to her association with
Basil Rouskas Associates, Inc., Elyse was in Human Resources in the
banking industry where she performed job analysis, employee
relations and other HR related functions.
As officer in charge of Training and Development for the
Corporate Trust Division, she designed, presented and administered
the delivery of training programs such as “Train the Trainer,”
“Telephone Etiquette” and “History of Wall Street.” She also has experience in the field of education, including
guidance, administration and physical fitness.
Elyse received her BA degree in
French Literature and Business Administration from the Franciscan
University of Steubenville, Ohio.
Rounding out her education, she has taken human resources and
training seminars at American Management Association, graduate
course work in counseling psychology, distance education and program
planning and development at Rutgers and has been active in ASTD
(American Society of Training and Development).

In addition to Elyse and Basil, our
firm has created a network of certified facilitators with years of
experience and with outstanding development and training skills.
Each one of them is selected and carefully screened for
professional qualifications, references, experience and philosophy.
They undergo significant training and eventually are
certified to deliver PRIDE ™
