Bundle 5
Project Management Program
(15 hours)
Three Key Courses delivered in five, three-hour bursts
The
Project Management Bundle
was designed to assist the work of technical professionals who –
although they may not have authority over the people involved in a
project – are expected to advance and complete the project or
critical segments of it. It
is not meant to address software that helps manage projects. We do recommend the utilization of appropriate software tools;
however, this Bundle addresses the interpersonal, organizational and
team competencies required of every successful project management.
Starting with the Communications Modules, it continues into skills and required
resources to manage well the people involved in the project. Several issues
are the subject of learning in this bundle, including interests,
styles of work, the importance of recognizing the value of differences
among people and how to leverage them by seeing them as assets rather
that difficulties. Given the demanding deadlines and the complexity of today’s projects, we
have included excellent resources in how to organize one’s big
picture (entire project), the weekly and daily objectives and how to
manage time preventing time wasters, and identifying trouble patterns
in the project.
